Q | Who is eligible? Adults and older teens (15+) in Ontario are eligible. Clients must be located in Ontario for all online appointments. Q | Do I need a referral to begin? No referral is required. You can book directly with an assessment session or begin with a meet-and-greet. Q | Are sessions covered by insurance? Yes. As all clinicians at SpeechAppeal are registered Speech-Language Pathologists, services are typically eligible for private or third-party insurance coverage under "speech therapy". We recommend checking directly with your provider regarding your specific plan. Q | How long will it take? Duration depends on your goals, current communication patterns, and consistency of practice. Many clients begin with an initial 4-session foundation phase to establish direction and early progress. On average, most people complete 8 sessions.
